Yes. Thanks to the hydrophobic surface, dirt and water roll off easily, so washing is faster and less frequent. Regular gentle washing keeps the coating performing at its best.

Excalibur NanoFilm builds a self-healing layer up to 85× thicker than a typical ceramic coating (about 15–40 microns of film versus a near-zero measurable layer). Ceramic adds gloss and hydrophobic protection but does not self-heal and offers little impact resistance. Excalibur repairs light scratches with heat and adds impact, stone-chip and corrosion protection while staying completely invisible.

PPF is a thick physical film (roughly 100–120 microns) that must be cut and applied in sections, leaving visible edges that can lift or yellow over time.
